Blessings come in unexpected ways. J Just this morning as we are having our breakfast, my very generous grandfather handed me a 500pesos. Of course, my heart was jumping in joy! Biruin mo at 6 in the morning may blessing na agad. Truly, I am very thankful for that. I put the money on my bag’s pocket and left home. I went on my daily route to the office where I’m having my internship. I passed by at St. Joseph’s Chapel to say my daily prayer and of course to give thanks for all the wonderful blessings that the Lord has showered me, my family and my friends. After I went out of the chapel, I suddenly remembered the money my Lolo handed me. I only put it in the pocket. So I decided to transfer it on my wallet. But to my surprise, the money wasn’t there in my bag’s pocket!!!!!
I lost it?! I don’t know! How?! When?! Where?! I am really clueless. The only thing that I knew is that I had put it on my bag!! That’s it! When I got in the office, I ransacked my bag. Checking every pocket and trying to remember what happened earlier this morning. I even called my Aunt to check if I have dropped the money somewhere in the house. Waaaaahhhh!!! Until this very hour, I still have no idea where could I have dropped the bill or to where did it go! I just hope I can still find it even it seems impossible. I am also wishing that by chance I really accidentally dropped it, that the person who got my bill is someone who’s really in need.
I’m trying my best not to feel bad about it. What makes me feel awful is my carelessness!! And the fact that the person who gave that to me is someone I respect the most. More than the monetary value of the thing lost, it’s the sentimental value that makes me feel like I lost a million today L
On the brighter side, I’m thinking that I still can earn the money lost and a lesson is learned from that experience J

another weekend to remember :)

After a long week at the office, i am so looking forward for this day, 12-03-11! not just because i’m going home to Batangas but this is also the first time that my cousins and I drove on our own going to our Lolo’s home in Batangas ;) Well, technically, its my cousin Trixie who’s driving coz she’s the one who got a car. haha! Plus, what makes the weekend extra is its our home town’s fiesta! So, we expect a lot of food on the table! And yeessss, my tummy was the happiest that day! Saraaaaap!!! :D
So here’s what we did over the weekend:
  • Breakfast at McDonald’s Tagaytay
  • Side trip to Balayan, Batangas
  • Pictures and moooore pictures taken :)
  • Pig-out at HOME!!!
Then its Sunday already, TIME TO GO BACK IN MANILA :( But before we head home, we grabbed a cup of coffee at Starbucks in Tagaytay where we also had some sweet cakes! Starbucks’ S’mores is sooooo goooood!!!! :p ahhh, now I wanna eat one ;)
I look forward to another roadtrip session with mah looves!! If we could only do that every weekend we will. Since next year three of my cousins are flying to the States already and it will take them years before they visit Philippines again. The thought of it makes me sad :( This will be the first time they’re going to be thousand miles away from us! So, for now, we’ll have to collect more wonderful memories to remember as we grow old and probably some more pictures to look at :)

#PeopleI'mThankfulFor

Posted on www.littlemissposterous.com last November 25,2011

Yesterday at the office, while I'm waiting my boss to give me some task I opened my twitter and saw the hashtag #PeopleI'mThankfulFor. I guess that's for Thanksgiving. When I saw it, I thought of the two most important groups in my life - my FAMILY AND MY FRIENDS :)
I just realized how lucky I am to have a very strong support system. I am so fortunate to have these kind of people in my life. My family who had always been there for me. Supporting me in every way possible. For always making me feel that I am important and that I am loved. Being the eldest grandchild wasn't easy. Being the "Ate", I need to be responsible at some point. I try my best to be objective at all times but I am no perfect just like all of you :) I am not a perfect example. I just try my best to be the person my parents will be proud of. Responsibility hit me pretty much the time when we lost our Father nearly three years ago. People around me keeps on telling me that I need to be more responsible. I did some things that I wish I didn't. Now I am working on myself. Sort of rebuilding my character. And as always, trying my very best to be the daughter my Mama will be proud of. I just wanted to let her know that I am trying!! I don't want to promise anything to her for I know somehow, promises are meant to be broken. I am thankful and blessed to have a Mom like her. Always there to support me and tell me the words I wanted to hear :) Moreover, I am very THANKFUL to my entire family for always being there! Being there always means the world to me :D
Aside from my loving family, my FRIENDS who never fail to make me smile everytime I'm with them. I have been friends with my "favorite people" for almost 8years now. Some of them I knew since I was eleven and some came to our lives when we started highschool. Our circle had gone a loooong waaaaay!!!! I don't know how would I describe the bonding that we all have. aaahhh! i cannot simply put the words altogether. that's how I love this people. You know, the feeling that there are people who care about you whom you do not have any blood ties! People outside from your family who loves you like their own sister! ahhhh!!! Really, I love my friends so much!! I love them the way I love my family. My friends are like brothers and sisters to me :">
I cannot imagine my life without my Family and Friends ;) they define me somehow. I thank the Lord for giving me peole who loves me and understands me. People who had been patient with me everytime I turn into a hormonal monster! hahaha (I have my moods, you know!) My life had become more colorful with these people in my life. i do not know what to do if I don't have them in my life!

we meet again, blogspot!

Apparently, this blog has been down for bajillion years! HAHA! All along I thought I won't be able to open this anymore because I have totally forgotten the password and e-mail address that I used in opening this blog. Well it really seems that Google knows it all! Thanks to the technology we had today. May collaboration pala si G-mail at Blogger ;) So my g-mail account is related to my blogger account, they're uhmmm I think cousins?! Ah, ewan, basta na-retrieve ko na yung account ko. End of convo :P

So for the past few months that I'm away from blogspot, I found a new home for my rants and thoughts which are sometimes non-sense! ewan ko ba kung bakit blog ako ng blog eh wala naman akong readers. Ayyy! *idea pops suddenly with matching light bulb* Siguro I have plenty of silent readers!!! HAHA! I knew it, you guys are reading my blog but don't follow it nor comment on my posts. Are you guys shy? Please don't be! Feel free to comment and follow or even bash my senseless posts :) mwahahahaha! Pang-boost lang ng morale. Alam ko namang wala akong readers.

So as I was saying, my blog posts for the past months had been published here www.littlemissdreamer.posterous.com :) This had been my home since November. Now that my blogger account is back, I will be doing the ever classic "copy-paste" method to transport the posts from posterous to blogger since I don't know how can I import them here :D So, to my silent readers, expect a flood on your dashboards as I begin with the "copy-paste" technique :D

PS -- I do hope that this senseless blog will stand longer this time :P

the downside!

kelangan ko ng tao na magsasabi sakin na ang mababang pagtingin sa sarili ay normal!!

have you experienced this kind of thing. You know you're good at something and you're confident of doing it but not with your family watching you doing it?? (may naka gets kaya ng nais kong iparating?) ...... :|

I felt guilty! My cousin is turning 18 this coming Saturday. She's very close to me and we're like twin sisters. She wants me to be her emcee on her party. I turned her down. Because I am afraid I won't do any good. Kasi naman, buong angkan namen andun. Mga friends niya not to mention relatives niya from the other side. I really don't wanna do it because I feel I'm not good enough. Yess, I do host in school activities but apart from that, hindi ko na keri ang dumaldal knowing my audience would be them!! teh! lack of self-confidence and problema ko. aminado ko dun. And I felt like a trash!! I hope hindi galit cousin ko saken. Pak!! I'm praying that she would find an emcee who's more suitable and well experienced.

I promised to myself that I will make blogging as a habit :) but then again, with all the other things I am doing I can't afford to blog often. So here are the things that kept me hype during last Holiday season :) And a glimpse of what my January had been!
December 2010
  • THE FIRST BLAST!!! (the first ever variety show my college had) — Its not that I sing or dance but my participation was behind the stage :)) I was one of the Production Assistant! and my voice did some job! I did the voice overs for the show :D It was great!! The show was a huge sucess!
  • Christmas with the Family — I realized one thing this last Christmas, that when you get older and about to become an adult only few people will give you gifts!! HAHAHA. unlike when you’re 8 years old your wallet has no room for another batch of new money :)) LOL but with or without gifts as long as I’m with my family, I’m more than HAPPY :D :))))
  • Party hard!! Drink moderately — really enjoyed the Christmas Party with my high school barkada who until now remains to be my true friends and has become brothers and sisters to me through the years!! Plus, drinking inside the house (only red wine though :P)
Really had a great December :))) super enjoy the Holidays!!!
JANUARY 2011 — New Year, Fresh Start :D
  • I was not so excited to go back to school coz of the blast the holiday break gave me ;)) LOL
  • The heart breaking news — I had been very vocal about being excited for the Regionals this year, good news they had considered my name again for the delegation for I was about to defend the title that I earned last year. Bad news, my Mom didn’t let me join because of the distance of the venue. It would be a 10 hour ride on a ship. Unfortunately, no planes travel to Romblon :( The team have to find a replacement for me!! HUHU! I did cry for a week because I wanted it so badly. But eventually, I understood my Mom for she’s worried that something might happen. I didn’t make a big deal out of it when I learned that Oratorical Speech Competition is not included anymore in the events. The only event that I’m confident of and where I was the defending Champion :)))
Though an opportunity slipped my hands, I’m still positive that there a lot more to come :))) After all, 2011 is just starting! there could still be another chance wherein I could showcase my skill! :D
No pics this time, feelin lazy to upload.LOL. I'll make another post na lang :D

Kalikasan -- nature! :)
"Kabataang Lider Kaisa ng Kalikasan"

On my way home from the camp, I was thinking of how will I blog about this wonderful experience. It's been a week since I've gone to this eco-camp but I still have hang-over from what I had experienced in my two day stay there. Learning that I was to leave school for two days just to participate in this "eco-camp" didn't give me any thrill. What made me jump to happiness is the idea of getting away from the stressing subjects that I have for this term. HAHA! :P. Aside from thinking that it would be nothing but a boring camp, the fact that we need to come up with a very beautiful presentation adds "inis" HAHAHA. eeh kasi naman noh, student leaders kame ndi kame ganun ka talented! LOL :P
Anyway, days are fast approaching and we haven't decided what are we going to showcase in the talent night! so we went to Calatagan with no concrete plan of what we're going to do. HAHA. Tanging lakas ng loob at good vibes lang ang meron kame!! So there we were, in the beautiful, calm, tranquil paradise -- NACUA BEACH RESORT, CALATAGAN, BATANGAS! =))
First Day of Eco-Camp officially opened. We did a battle cry to uplift the spirit of our schools ;)) BUILD THE DREAM! SHAPE THE FUTURE! UPHOLD THE SUBLIME!! Go ARASOF!! GO BatStateU .. yan ang nakayanan namen isigaw noon :P HAHA. Eh ano kung may "ANIMO LA SALLE, ANIMO LA SALLE" sila (don't get me wrong mahal ko mga taga DLSU. they are kind people! hindi snob at mababaet talaga!) As I was saying, nagsimula na nga ang aming camping :) they separated us from our school mates, they grouped us together with other schools. Ika nga nila eh, bonding at building new friends eto. So, successful naman sila kasi andame ko naging friends =) Hindi ko nga lang nakausap yung CUTE na taga kabilang delegation. HAHA. just kidding ;) After that mini socialization, we got down to the real thing! we went to an immersion, they brought us to a place where mangroves are being well taken care of. Isa siyang islet, and it sinks every time na high tide. Alam mo ba na ang brain behind that mangrove planting eh isang KABATAANG LIDER?? Yes, the SK Chairman of the said Barangay. One proof na talagang ang kabataan ay kapaki-pakinabang sa komunidad =) Yahoooo!!!
On our way to the mangrove area, we did not walk through cemented roads rather, we walk through the sand :) Ginawa nameng kalye ang dagat! Kung pano yun, bahala ka na isipin. HAHA. We took advantage habang low tide pa! and on the way, we bumped into some sea creatures! Sea snakes, star fish, sea cucumber at kung anu-ano pang sea!! haha. ganyan ka-healthy and dagat ng Calatagan :P Well preserved! kaya CLAP CLAP! eto ang ilang larawan ng aming paglalakbay patungo sa "ANG PULO"

Ang saya saya ng experience na yan :)

After that field exposure, we got down to the real business. The reality! A talk about Climate Change and other environmental issues! Kudos to the speakers! They were all excellent. They were able to convey to us the real picture, the reality that our planet is indeed suffering from our own cruelties. That Ecosystem imbalance happens merely because of MEN :( Sad to say, we are the major contributors with all these environmental chaos! I am not being hypocrite, of course I threw a lot of garbage on the street, I waste electricity and so on. But after hearing all the talks, it opened my mind to a new perspective. We are all interdependent to each other! Hayop, Tao, Halaman -- kailangan natin ang isa't isa para mabuhay!!

More than the teachings that I learned from this camp, what I found striking is the energy of the participants present that moment. Iba talaga ang kabataang Pinoy!! We want change that's why we're all there! I met a lot of people and as I get to know them I learned a lot and I grew as a person. I will forever be grateful for this kind of opportunity. Not all students are lucky enough to have experienced all these =) Lord, THANK YOU PO!!

So, here are the pics from camp!

the campers ;)

BatStateU-ARASOF Campers :))

That TWO DAYS was definitely a BLAAASSST :)))) LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! May God continue to bless those people who devote themselves on working for a sustainable environment! Salute to the people like SIR JESSIE Delos Reyes and SIR A.G. Sano ;)
